Exam Results/Pupil Progress

At Oakfield School we work hard to prepare all of our pupils for their exams and help them to achieve their full potential.

2015/16 Pupil Progress- whole school

  • 72% (33/46) of pupils made at least the expected progress in English Reading (59% 27/46 of which was exceeding). An increase of 1% of pupils achieving 2 sublevels or more and an increase of 41% of pupils achieving 3 sublevels or more on previous year.
  • 78% (36/46) of pupils made at least the expected progress in English Writing (74% 34/46 of which was exceeding). An increase of 6% of pupils achieving 2 sublevels or more and an increase of 41% of pupils achieving 3 sublevels or more on previous year.
  • 72% (33/46) of pupils made at least the expected progress in Maths (35% 16/46 of which was exceeding). An increase of 10% of pupil achieving 2 sublevels or more and an increase of 9% of pupils achieving 3 sublevels or more on previous year.

 

2015/16 Exam Results

  • In 2015/16 GCSE results for Year 11 leavers-English Language (64% A-G), English Literature (57% A-Gs), Math’s (64% A-G), Science Core ( 78% A-G), Science Additional (57% A-G) and ICT (64% EDCL Pass).
  • 57% (8/14) of pupils achieved at least 5 A-G’s at GCSE level including English and Maths.
  • It was the first year where some pupils {21% of cohort (3/14)} achieved at least grade C in both English and Maths GCSEs.
